Reunion 2017 update
Dear All,

The Reunion is now just five weeks away. As we speak the numbers for the Gala dinner on Saturday 25th March stands at 92 plus a few unsure at the moment due to other possible commitments. If you can’t make the full weekend why not just come along on Saturday. With your attendance, we could make it 100 +. We are just short of our allocated 60 rooms so do it today so we don’t lose the rooms (spares will go on general sale in two weeks’ time - more can be acquired if necessary).

A draft programme for the weekend has been circulated via OTT Reunited. All arrangements are now in place for an excellent weekend. Friday will be a meet and great in the historic Wolston Lounge which will also be the setting for the Fun Casino Night on Sunday evening with professional croupiers, fun money and bottles of bubbly for the lady/gent with most cash at the end of the evening. The Gala Dinner will be held in the Tollemache Room. Both location will have private bars with reduced prices.

The coach for Sunday is booked and kindly sponsored by Mike Craven Medical Ltd. Following the general meeting we will be visiting historic Leicester with its many attractions. All welcome even if you are departing on Sunday as we will be back at the hotel mid-afternoon for tea and OTT Reunited cake. Please let me know if you would like a seat on the coach - contact me here, by email or PM.

Les Thorne will be hosting the Golf Match on Saturday at a local course for the prestigious Colin Fairlamb trophy (and other prizes) - all levels welcome and there will be some spare clubs if you don’t possess any. Depart 10 am for T off at 11. Dress code (golf clothes or smart casual - no jeans/T shirts). If you would like to play or have any queries, please let me know and I will forward on to Les.

Scotty’s Little Soldiers is our 2017 Charity and I have already received £325 - if you are unable to attend, a donation (large or small) would be gratefully received. Can I ask those attending to bring along a raffle prize (alternative to booze would be good)? Sarah Rees will once again be organising the raffle and hopefully we will do the charity proud as we have done in past years.

What about sponsorship - letters have been sent to companies but if you are in the position of authority in your company (boss/director/manager/bouncer) twist a few arms - it’s a great cause.

‘We’ are looking forward to seeing you at Bosworth - if unsure of booking details contact me or view details on the website.

Regards Ken
